At Kids in Bloom Malvern we offer breakfast, after school and holiday clubs within the school and have done since 2005.
Giving parents quality childcare in a safe and secure environment for 0-11 year olds 52 weeks per year.
Our building is purpose built, light, spacious, secure and above all fully resourced specific to the children’s needs.
Our outside classroom is part grass and part astro turf with a climbing hill, mark making den, water cascades, state of the art mud kitchen, planters and digging areas. We also have a bee garden and pet hens. Thats right pet hens, we often have scrambled egg with toast. The children collect the eggs, and we prepare them. We also have the use of the sprawling landscape that Malvern Primary offers including a pond dipping platform, a Wild flower meadows and acres of green grass.
The children are central to the process in everything we do. Our staff at Malvern Nursery are committed, enthusiastic and take great pride in everything we do.
Our holiday club is open from 8:00am - 5.50pm Monday to Friday every school holiday period excluding bank holidays.
Periods including October half term, Christmas, February half term, Easter, Witt (May) & Summer Holidays
This can add up to 14 weeks per year.
Kids in Bloom provide breakfast and afternoon snack throughout the day. We ask parents to provide a healthy packed lunch. We also ask parents to provide a water proof jacket and sun cream.
Our aim is for the children to attend 3 outings per week. These outings range from trips to the local park, watching a movie in the cinema, ten pin bowling, a trip to local museums and also trips theme parks such as Gullivers World,Warrington plus other places of interest like Apple Jacks farm,Acorn farm,Underwater street, Airborn academy and Awesome walls climbing centre.
The 2 days we spend in however are just as entertaining with a mix of structured adult led and child led play on offer. For example the children attending a bug hunt with park rangers at Court Hey Park. The next day the children took part in making bug hotels with staff at the setting.
